Terms & Conditions – Yes Tours Pvt Ltd

These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings and travel services offered by Yes Tours Pvt Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”). By making a booking with us, you (“the client”, “traveler”) agree to comply with these terms. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.


1. Booking Confirmation & Payment

A. Booking Process
Upon selecting a tour package, the client must email a scanned copy of their passport and flight e-ticket (if available) to confirm the booking.

Once these documents are received, hotel booking will commence and be completed within five (5) business days.

A detailed invoice will then be sent to the client.

B. Payments
Payments can be made via bank transfer only.

A 30% advance payment of the total amount must be credited to the provided Yes Tours Pvt Ltd bank account.

Full payment is required if the booking is made less than 10 days before the client’s arrival date.

The remaining balance must be paid within 21 days after booking confirmation.

Notes:

  • All bank transfer charges must be borne by the client.

  • No postage fees or booking charges will be applied.

  • Exchange rates are based on the Central Bank of Sri Lanka at the time of booking and are not subject to change.

  • If the balance payment is made upon arrival, the prevailing exchange rate will apply.

  • We do not accept in-person credit, debit, or Visa card payments.


2. Group Booking Payments (10 or More Persons)

After confirming a tour package, a 50% advance payment of the total amount must be made within 10 business days.

Full payment is required if there are less than 10 days remaining before the arrival date.

Remaining balance must be paid within 21 days.


3. Cancellation Procedure

All cancellations must be requested via email. The following cancellation fees apply:

  • 30+ days before arrival → Full refund (minus bank charges)

  • 21–30 days before arrival → 10% cancellation fee

  • 14–21 days before arrival → 50% cancellation fee

  • 7–14 days before arrival → 75% cancellation fee

  • Less than 7 days before arrival → 100% cancellation fee

  • No-show at the hotel or airport on arrival date → 100% cancellation fee


4. Accommodation Adjustments

Hotel changes cannot be made after final booking confirmation.

If a client requests a hotel change, at least 21 days’ notice before arrival is required.

Late change requests will result in the client bearing full hotel charges; previous reservations cannot be refunded.

If selected hotels are unavailable due to overbooking or other operational issues, alternative accommodations of similar standard will be arranged.


5. Changes in Itineraries

Itinerary changes will only be considered if the client agrees to pay any additional costs incurred.

Final destinations and confirmed accommodations cannot be undone or changed; only route or en-route stops may be adjusted.


6. Refund Methods

Approved refunds will be processed within 30 business days of cancellation.

Refunds are made via bank transfer only.

Exchange rates applied will be those from the Central Bank of Sri Lanka at the time of booking and will not change.


7. Liability

Yes Tours Pvt Ltd acts as an agent for hotels and activity providers and is not responsible for delays, cancellations, injuries, or damages caused by third parties or force majeure events.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended.


8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sri Lanka.
